MRCGP
International Preparation Course

Dear Colleague,

We have reached a very exciting time in Pakistan. The Royal College of General Practitioners from the UK has now established a post graduate exam for family medicine doctors/ general practitioners who are based in South Asia.

It seems its popularity is increasing year by year and this is the third year since its inception. As a practicing doctor we would now like to give you the opportunity to obtain the gold standard in family medicine postgraduate qualifications. We will shortly be commencing a MRCGP preparation course to help you embark on a potentially rewarding journey to becoming a Family Medicine Consultant.

We are aware that having to study may be a daunting task for those of you who may have qualified a long while ago. But be reassured that last year we had a record number of candidates from Pakistan taking the exam and they were in the same situation as you when they started.

The purpose of the course is to help guide you to how to study, what source material to use, to interact with fellow doctors and specialists and to give you an idea of what structure and format the exam takes.

I am sure the whole experience of studying will be an uplifting and enjoyable process. Attached is a leaflet explaining what the exam entails and we look forward to seeing you when the course commences. Please send us your contact details either by email or SMS so that we can register you for the course.

Kind regards,

Dr Kashaf Aziz
